Position offered: Director of Enterprise Sales and Support – North America

To support the commercialization efforts and the growth of the organization, BioIntelligence Technologies is recruiting a Director of Enterprise Sales and Support for North America. The Director will have a technical background and will have been exposed to the biotech industry, understanding its challenges and opportunities. The Director will use this knowledge to promote the benefits of our instruments as a solution for a potential customer to increase its efficiency and its profitability, in real-time. The Director’s performance will be measured first on his ability to solve day to day challenges and to impact the efficiency of his team, then on sales performances. The compensation package will include a base salary bonified with an attractive commission plan. The position is available at the company’s office, on remote work, and in a combination.

Responsabilities

  • Acquire leads and convert them into customers.
  • Establish and nurture excellent relationship with leads and customers.
  • Identify leads' needs and objectives to articulate the business values of the products.
  • Prepare proposals, conduct presentations, and execute demos.
  • Negotiate and assume leadership in closing a Proof-of-Concept to demonstrate the business value of the products.
  • With the assistance of a field engineer, support the Proof-of-Concept trials for the customer's team to proceed seamlessly and to be successful.
  • Capture key information to build and present a business case demonstrating the business values of the products for the customer.
  • Convert a Proof-of-Concept customer into a Facility-deployment customer using the business case and the flexible business model of the company.
  • Listen to customers' personnel and senior level executives to understand needs and trends and to discover potential new opportunities.
  • Drive account penetration as well as new account acquisition strategies to develop a healthy qualified pipeline.
  • Be at ease with rigorous documentation of processes and activities to support accurate sales forecasts and knowledge transfer.
  • Embrace a team-selling approach and build on the knowledge and expertise from team.
  • Being member of the Leadership Committee.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in process engineering or biological sciences (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology, biotechnological or pharmaceutical company, in a technical, CRM or B2B selling role, with a track record of sustained success.
  • Asset: MBA, experience with bioprocess operations and monitoring
