    POSITION SUMMARY

    The MA Senior Technical Consultant will contribute to the Services Teams' effort to fulfill client mandates. As an MA Senior Technical Consultant, you will participate in all phases of deployment from Statement of Work review, initial project briefing, requirements gathering, solution design, overseeing configuration and development, testing, validation, and go-live activities during the deployment, including training key stakeholders. You will lead development, configuration, implementation of MA, and CRM solutions, along with leveraging key functionalities to deliver a valuable and outstanding client experience. You will also be responsible for the mentorship and guidance of Technical Consultants.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strong understanding of Marketing business processes and ability to translate complex business requirements into technical and system specifications
    • Lead technical discovery discussions to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and present solutions with supportive documentation
    • Design complex technical solutions for large client challenges utilizing MA and CRM in collaboration with Lead Management Consultant
    • Lead the design of technical solutions for client business problems utilizing MA and CRM
    • Responsible for writing technical portion of Business Requirements Document and all technical documentation (technical solution specification, testing requirements, and validation, user and maintenance documentation, client training, etc.) for complex technical solutions and/or large clients
    • Build positive client and peer relationships by developing an understanding of customer's business and project objectives
    • Lead integration of MA and CRM platforms to deliver Lead Management solutions
    • Technical development and configuration will include, but may not be limited to:
    • o Implement and enhance new or existing Marketing Automation and/or Sales Automation implementations (e.g. configuration and rollout of Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, Salesforce.com)
    • o Expertise with direct outbound Marketing channels best practices (Email, Direct Mail, SMS, etc.) and current privacy regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
    • o Expertise setting up automated targeted marketing journeys and nurturing stages; including the development of segmentation, campaign flows, emails, landing pages, forms, data processors, etc. utilizing MA platforms, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, etc.
    • o Extensive experience with Campaign and Lead Management reporting, tracking, and analytics utilizing Excel, Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, SQL, scripting (JavaScript, Python) for technical and non-technical audiences
    • o Experience implementing and enhancing lead scoring and lead routing rules
    • o Expertise with data management (cleansing, de-duplication, standardization, augmentation, enrichment) to enhance targeting, segmentation, and personalization
    • o Implement and enhance funnel progression tracking for prospects and leads, establish the ability to track conversion ratios, lead volume and velocity through each funnel stage
    • o Implement and enhance automation and workflow rules enabling Service Level Agreement (SLA) definition, tracking, and enforcement for lead progression through the funnel
    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
    • Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a technical consultant in marketing automation and/or sales automation or equivalent experience in a related field
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience implementing and delivering MA and CRM across the full lifecycle
    • Working technical knowledge of at least one CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform stack. Experience with Salesforce.com is a definite asset
    • Expertise and ability to communicate effectively with clients (face to face, over the phone, by email), and managing multiple projects
    • Experience with the development lifecycle (Business Process design, documentation, QA, testing strategy and execution, troubleshooting analysis)
    • Experience in a B2B environment
    • Experience building lead scoring and lead management processes that align marketing and sales
    • Web page and HTML design experience
    • Experience with coding and development languages like C, C++, Java, C# (an asset)
    EDUCATION
    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required in either: Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training/experience
    • MA and/or CRM certification(s)

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Professional services office environment
    • Using a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse for extended periods of time
    • Travel within Canada and the USA may be required for client-facing meetings: 20%

  • Mentor Technical Consultants with an intent to facilitate the development of their consulting and MA/CRM skillset
  • Actively pursue an understanding of new Marketing Automation and Sales Automation technologies and apps
  • Guide and educate clients on MA and CRM systems and capabilities
  • Lead workshops, define requirements and conduct training sessions to grow client solution adoption
  • Work in a collaborative team (Project Management, Business Consulting, Technical Consulting) to analyze client objectives, assess potential options, provide recommendations, and develop solutions
  • Other projects, assignments, and tasks as may be assigned
