Financial Planning Project Analyst Job Opening in Vancouver
The Financial Planning Project Analyst – Incompatible Applications will provide business case development support to the impacted Windows 10 incompatible application sites.
What you’ll do
Provides Site Leads with appropriate content and contributing financial expertise to develop quality business cases in support of the application mitigation recommended approach and solution (options, recommendation, rationale, etc.)
Supports Leads in the facilitation of obtaining funding approval using existing governance processes
Assists in developing business cases for new sustainment hires over the next 12 months that align with and supports FWS goals and objectives
Works collaboratively with cross-functional team members representing Incompatible Applications FWS on financial business processes, problems and solutions, and conduct training for staff on developing budgets, monitoring information, analysing deviations, funding and costing methodologies, and utilizing computer technology tools
What you bring
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a degree in business or financial with partial completion of a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA), with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience, including experience in program and business case research and development
Ability to apply critical thinking in the analysis of operational problems and recommendation of innovative solutions
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task without direct supervision
Demonstrated administrative, organizational, work planning and control skills
Demonstrated strong writing and presentation skills
Superior analytical skills including the ability to comprehend complex issues and related data/information and present information in concise meaningful ways
Strong computer and financial application skills including demonstrated ability to productively use spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and database applications
Customer focused with ability to facilitate and encourage co-operation between diverse operational groups and skill sets
