Our primary focus is the video games industry, and clients love our approach - we’re on Slack, Discord, we’re on the floor with them at gaming conferences. More importantly, we grasp their business as no other firm can.

Prospecting - You’ll be in charge of identifying net new clients and developing lead lists to create direct outreach strategies and workflow sequences. Managing your efforts in a timely fashion, your goal is to book 5-10 new discussions per week. Outreach may be managed in tandem with a Junior Account Executive in order to close net new business. Prior full-cycle sales experience and customer relationship management are required and you must be outgoing and think outside the box.

Nurturing Lead Through Full Sales Cycle - In most cases you’ll be handing the full sales cycle, from prospecting, to proposal, through to closing, and all of the follow up in between. However, you’ll also be expected to know when to leverage specific members of the team to help facilitate the sales cycle. Data is key here to keep yourself on track and keeping others informed of where prospects are sitting within the cycle. We have tools in place to help track this information efficiently and keep you on track, so you’ll have to be dedicated to using these systems.

Forecasting Sales Process - Ensure prospective client information is correct and up to date in our internal systems. Must have experience using CRM technologies such as Salesforce, Hubspot, etc. Training will of course be provided on our internal nuances, but you will be expected to run reports and present your pipeline on a weekly basis.

Industry Knowlege and Education - We primarily work within the video game development industry, but also spill over into the TV/Film and tech industries. The funding side of this industry is both unique and constitutes a swath of different programs and initiatives. Of course, you aren’t expected to have a wealth of knowledge in this capacity from the outset, it will be expected that you are willing and eager to learn the landscape and demonstrate that knowledge when speaking with prospective clients. Similarly, because when it comes down to it, we are an accounting practice, you’ll be expected to be willing to learn about simple tax and accounting related matters.


Organization - You will have to manage multiple tasks, staff and clients, so being organized will go a long way in succeeding in this role

Communication - This role requires you to be able to communicate frequently and openly, and let us know if something’s wrong or needs attention. Or, that everything’s going well - that works too.

Sales Leadership- work as a team (no high school drama!) and be willing to share your insights/experiences to improve sales processes.

Tech-Savvy – since all our work is done on the cloud, you should be comfortable with learning and using web and mobile apps. You’re always exploring the latest tech out there, and can talk to clients about tech on their level.

Attention to Detail - This is one area where we’re not different from accounting firms. As we’re dealing with tax & financial matters, you will need to be obsessively detail-oriented.

Ownership – you require minimal supervision and take responsibility for getting the work done.



  • Prior full-cycle outbound sales experience - having been successful in a similar role, and equally important, enjoying this type of role is key.
  • You should be willing to go outside of your comfort zone and break the mould. This role is for a self-starter. The bulk of this role would involve you reaching out to people that you’ve never had any contact with before, and it’s no secret that this isn’t for everyone.
  • Knowing when and how to close. We’re not a fan of hard close tactics and have no need to implement them. We’ve built an abundance of brand equity and offer plenty of value which negates the need for such tactics. As such, they’d do more damage than good. Nevertheless, knowing when it’s time to close and having a keen sense of reading and managing the situation is essential.
  • Taking ownership – you require minimal supervision and take responsibility for getting the work done. Ask questions, and don’t be afraid to speak up in team collaboration.
