Job Description

The Intelligent Automation (IA) Lead will be a key contributor in the development of Automation solutions across the organization for the digitization and automation team. This position is responsible for setting up framework and standards to ensure cohesive, comprehensive and successful implementation of automation solutions. The role interfaces with both technology and business operations team in the effective monitoring and maintenance that would improve the over-all business services of the company. The IA Team Lead provides leadership, automation methodology, technical expertise, maintenance/support and enforce a robust governance model to support automation project delivery.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and deliver, or lead the design and delivery of, Automation solutions across multiple businesses, teams, departments
  • Develop best practices for using automation tools to deliver end to end automation solutions
  • Help train or support the training of automation best practices, standards, framework to other agile focused teams participating in automation development
  • Participate with teams in analyzing, or lead analysis of, process automation requirements and design robotic process automation solutions, architecture and logic
  • Configure and test, or lead the configuration and testing of, automated processes prior to deployment into client environments
  • Help facilitate follow the sun delivery model with paired programming
  • Develop and assure documentation according to company standards, best practices and standard operating procedures
  • When needed, support, debug, and break fix any issues with robots.
  • Contribute to the professional services knowledge base to help create a repository of best practices; clearly document all team engagements and work delivered
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 Years of experience in a Management Position having over-all responsibilities in business operations and services delivery, either as in-house or third-party vendor.
  • Degree Holder in any Science, Business or Technology courses, with preference for applicants with master’s degree in business or technology.
  • Strong People Management SkillsCan develop and grow strong partnerships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Demonstrable experience in professional and technical capabilities such as: Automation (BPM, RPA, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence), Operational Excellence approaches and methods (Lean agile delivery, DevOps, Lean thinking, Process excellence, System & Management Thinking).
  • A Bachelor of Computer Science, Information systems, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of different project methodologies
  • Strong technical background with a passion for L3 Support and enthusiasm for working in a great team.
  • Willingness to learn complex applications and unique data
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Academic record or strong related internship /Co-op/Work experience
  • Time management skills and the ability to simultaneously work on multiple deliverables
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Project management experience
  • 4+ years of development experience with a solid understanding of programming concepts automation tools
  • 3+ years of experience in low-code and/or no-code development
  • Experience in delivering value added initiatives within an Operations or Finance team is an asset
  • Significant experience in deploying best practices for Process Excellence, RPA and Automation within a midlarge organization.
  • Good knowledge of automation spanning across structured and unstructured data by leveraging machine learning concepts.
  • Good understanding of Content automation / OCR technologies and the interplay between process and content automation frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Software Development life cycle process
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (.NET, Java, C#, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with relational database (SQL Server, Oracle DB)
  • Experience with Microsoft Packages: SharePoint Online, PowerApps, MS Excel (VBA) and MS Access
  • Proven leadership & people/talent management capabilities.
  • Able to function as an organizational change agent and see beyond current situations towards enterprise-wide higher level process and systems improvements
  • Demonstrated project management & planning skills; balances strategic skills with tactical execution skills
  • Strong motivational, developmental & operational management skills
  • Strong consulting, and negotiation skills; ability to function effectively within matrix management situations & under dynamic mandates
  • Strong analytical & metrics management skills
  • Strong communication skillsverbal, written & presentation; ability to adapt content to various audiences; communicates effectively at all organization levels
  • Proven interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships, engage and influence others, work with a diverse internal and international customer base
  • Strong attention to details and services accuracy.
