Mission Eye Care is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our team!

Our modern eye clinic is a one-stop shop for eye exams, unique eyeglasses, contact lenses and eye disease treatment. Recently expanded, we are also growing into the field of medical aesthetics!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling and oversight of staff schedules including gathering and reviewing hours worked for payroll purposes
  • Guiding and mentoring the roles of the Optical Manager, Patient Coordinator Manager and Clinic Manager
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Team for creating content that is effective
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Contact Lens Clinic
  • Leading team meetings focusing on areas of professional growth and development as well as addressing operational areas of concern
  • Partnering with Owners, Managers and Leads to deliver effective Performance Reviews.
  • Coordination of on boarding, training, including annual review of the training manual.
  • Maintaining vendor relations by guaranteeing vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.
  • Ordering general office supplies accordingly and maintaining their inventory levels.
  • Compile and present financial information derived from analyzing sales results, and report identified trends to clinic owners with recommendations
  • Various other management and administrative duties when required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience as an Office Manager in a medical setting
  • 2+ years mentoring and coaching staff in a leadership role
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills using MS Office
  • Experience in Slack and Sling is an asset
  • Proven ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment

  • Saturday availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


  • Medical office management: 1 year (preferred)
