    The WSIB is recruiting for current and future unilingual and bilingual (French speaking) opportunities in the following locations:
    Guelph, Hamilton, Kingston, Kitchener, London, North Bay, Ottawa, Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie, St. Catharines, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Timmins & Windsor
    Statuses include: Full-Time and Part-Time, Permanent and Temporary and Casual
    Note schedules or availability of work will not be consistent or guaranteed for casual opportunities. Hours of work may vary from 0 to 13 hours per week dependent on business needs and your availability. Contracts will vary in length.

    What can I expect to do in this role? Job Summary:
    Promote the values, principles and professional public profile of the WSIB by receiving and responding to general telephone enquiries related to claims, health care benefits, return to work/work transition services, prevention, access, appeals, e-services, compliance and general revenue or WSIB policies. Route calls to appropriate area and/or staff. Place outbound calls when necessary and appropriate.
    Major Responsibilities:
  • Answer an Automatic Call Distributor telephone system, providing information and assistance to workers, employers, representatives and internal business partners or others in response to telephone enquiries
  • Incumbent may perform a range of clerical duties during non-peak periods while still available to answer telephone
  • Provide occasional backup for receptionist counselor, records and mailroom to cover breaks and lunch periods.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

    Nous sommes à la recherche de spécialistes du service à la clientèle chevronnés pour travailler au sein de notre Division des solutions multicanaux, du lundi au vendredi, de 13 h à 16 h. La préposée ou le préposé aux renseignements téléphoniques aidera les clients qui présentent une demande de renseignements téléphonique en rapport avec les demandes de prestations, les prestations de soins de santé, la réintégration au marché du travail, la prévention, l'accès aux dossiers, les contestations, le programme des lésions graves, des maladies professionnelles et des prestations de survivant, le revenu en général, les politiques de la WSIB et l'orientation des clients vers le secteur approprié.
    Principales responsabilités
  • Répondre aux clients conformément aux normes établies par la Commission.
  • Déterminer la nature et la portée des demandes des clients et y donner suite.
  • Accéder aux divers systèmes informatiques de la WSIB pour fournir les renseignements demandés concernant les dossiers et les prestations.
  • Éduquer les clients sur les politiques et les procédures, leur expliquer comment remplir les formulaires et les demandes, et les orienter vers les partenaires commerciaux au besoin.
  • Produire ou envoyer divers formulaires de la WSIB aux travailleurs ou aux employeurs au besoin.
  • Vérifier si les employés concernés sont disponibles et leur transmettre les demandes de renseignements lorsque l'information n'est pas disponible, et que les questions soumises nécessitent une décision ou comportent certaines difficultés.
  • Envoyer des notes de services écrites à la main, des courriels ou des notes de service en ligne aux employés concernés.
  • Accomplir des tâches de bureau durant les périodes creuses comme consigner les statistiques des appels téléphoniques, indexer les documents, coder et trier le courrier, envoyer des lettres, etc.
  • Remplacer occasionnellement l'agente ou l'agent d'accueil, ou encore aux archives et à la salle du courrier durant les pauses et les pauses-repas.

  • How do I qualify? Job Requirements: Job Requirements:
  • Completed high school diploma plus MINIMUM 1 year of post-secondary education
  • Proven Customer Service skills and experience
  • Experience in a Call Centre environment is an asset
  • Sttrong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with customer problem resolution
  • Leadership skills sufficient to provide on-the-job training to new or less experienced staff

  • Qualifications et exigences professionnelles :
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou une combinaison équivalente de scolarité et d'expérience.
  • Un an d'expérience dans le service à la clientèle, dans un centre d'appel de préférence.
  • Connaissance des méthodes et des processus généraux de bureau pour appliquer et suivre les directives reliées à l'accès aux renseignements, aux demandes de dossiers, aux soldes de compte, etc.
  • Connaissance des systèmes informatiques comme Microsoft Outlook et Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Connaissances de base en mathématiques pour renseigner les clients sur les paiements, expliquer le calcul des taux d'indemnisation et maintenir les statistiques.
  • Compétences relationnelles, faire preuve de courtoisie, de tact et de diplomatie, bonne capacité d'écoute et d'interrogation pour travailler en équipe et répondre aux demandes de renseignements des clients
