Position: Medical Receptionist
Employment Terms: 15-20 hours/ week

Trinity Medical Center is a family practice that provides primary care to a rostered population of patients in the city of Oakville and surrounding area.
The Receptionist/Clerical position is critical to the effective functioning of the clinic. This position requires excellent administrative support skills, an ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and strong interpersonal skills to work with patients and other service providers. The clinic staff work a schedule that meets the needs of the patients and physicians and thus working evenings and weekends are expected.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Performs clerical duties
· Greets and registers patients in a professional friendly manner
· Answers multi-line telephone system
· Manages booking/referral processes
· Builds and maintains clinic schedules
· Processes correspondence, drafts replies and processes other routine tasks
· Maintains confidentiality of all data and information.
· Performs other duties as assigned in the interest of efficient operations of the clinic
· Comply with the clinic policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Experience with Electronic Health Record systems, preferably Oscar is required
· Completion of Medical Secretary Course (medical terminology) is an asset
· Proficiency in computer applications: Apple Mac OS, Windows, Microsoft Office programs, Email and Internet
· Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
· Capacity to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Proven participatory work style; ability to work independently and with a team
