The Keyholder at Snakes & Lattes College does a combination of barista and bar work. They're also responsible for securing the venue at night.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledgeable palate for espresso and tea
• Experience with dialling in espresso shots on manual espresso machines
• Knowledge of troubleshooting espresso shots using dry dose and grind settings on espresso grinders
• Experience with texturing steamed milk for espresso beverages
• Experience in creating basic latte art
• Experience with cleaning manual espresso machines, grinders and coffee related equipment
• Able to work late nights
• Experience pouring beer and wine, and knowledge of classic cocktail recipes
• Smart-Serve Certified
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to work well under pressure
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

JOB DUTIES

• Venue Security
• Follow opening and closing checklists

• Maintain familiarity with the content of the games library, & retail
• Maintain familiarity with other roles and their job descriptions, and assist when needed
• At all times practice good customer relations, assisting the guest in any way that does not adversely affect other customers, staff or the business
• Prepare coffee, tea and cocktails in a sanitary and accurate manner

• Clean designated areas, in accordance with established procedures
• Attend meetings and training courses as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 to $15.25 /hour

• Venue Closing: 1 year (Required)
• Bartending: 1 year (Required)
• Latte Art: 1 year (Required)
• Manual Espresso Machine: 1 year (Required)
