This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Child and Adolescent Services, Mental Health and Addictions, the Social Worker works with children and adolescents up to the nineteenth birthday providing assessment and treatment for children and adolescents who have mental health or concurrent disorders. Child and Adolescent Services is a multi-discipline service (which includes psychology, social work, psychiatry, addiction clinical therapists and, behavioural interventionists) that provides service in the hospital clinic, schools, and satellite clinics. Services can include individual, family based, or group therapy. Evening and daytime hours and travel is required. Participating in the delivery of evidence based group therapy is required.Qualifications
If above not available a training option will be considered for qualified candidates. Candidates that will embark in the training position will be determined by an interview process. The candidate must have: Master's degree in Social Work with a Specialization with Children & Families

Permanent Full-time (100%) Position; 75.00 Hours Bi-weekly.
