The Opportunity

Reporting to the Community Recreation Supervisor, the Guest Services Representative is a member of the Sports Development, Wellness and Culture Department. You will provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers while demonstrating the 's Guiding Beliefs. You will be the primary contact for ball diamond and South Bear Creek pavilion bookings and will provide general administrative support to the department.

Responsibilities

As a Guest Service Representative, one of your main responsibilities is providing exceptional customer service to all customers including residents, community organizations, staff, volunteers, and internal City departments.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Baseball diamond bookings
• South Bear Creek pavilion bookings
• Set up and tear down for room rentals
• Assist with department special events
• Assist with general administrative tasks and research
• Processing payments and sales from rentals
• Invoicing and accounts receivable
• Assist with public safety and follow safe work practices
• Required to work independently with minimal supervision

You Bring

• High school diploma
• One-year administrative experience
• One-year experience in a customer service capacity
• Competency and experience in Microsoft Office programs
• Demonstrated proficiency in large volumes of data entry & management
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple conflicting priorities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Class 5 driver's license; some travel between work sites will be required

Hours

Monday-Friday hours will vary, some evenings and weekends will be required for special events.

Salary/Wage

$21.69 per hour.
