Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Night Crew Chief
• Unload skids, stock skids
• Receive night delivery
• Unload boxes and re-stock shelves
• Follow department procedures with overstock
• Break down boxes and clean up aisles
• Stacking skids to be brought to the back of the store
• Check expiry dates while stocking
• General clean up
• Clean-up of damaged stock
• Operates electric and manual pallet jacks, stacker, baler and garbage compactor
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Able to frequently reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move rapidly, bend, stoop, kneel, twist and turn frequently
• Previous experience in grocery retail is an asset
