G&L is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to work closely with the Sales Team. The Inside Sales Representative will actively identify opportunities to introduce G&L’s products and increase the revenue opportunity within each customer’s business portfolio. If you’re a passionate multi-tasker with the ability to prospect leads and close sales, we want to hear from you.

Normal business hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Flexibility is required with significant time invested during peak periods. Additional hours may be required when workload necessitates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends.
  • Identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport and preparing quotations.
  • Close new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries; verify and enter information as required.
  • Fulfill orders by transferring orders to dispatch, communicating expected delivery date and following up to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop accounts by checking customers’ buying history; suggest related or new products and cross-sell.
  • Consistently update job knowledge by researching or attending sessions on new products or services.
  • Take ownership of your role and book of business to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.

· Troubleshoot problems as needed.

· Route qualified opportunities to the assigned Account Manager.

· Other duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College/ University education required
  • Account Management and/or Inside Sales experience is mandatory
  • 3 to 5 years of Sales experience
  • Ability to meet and supersede targets and quotas
  • Prospecting and closing skills
  • Ability to think “outside of the box”
  • Strong phone presence and experience conducting multiple calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and presentation tools
  • Experience working with Prophet or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
