Overview:
Develop and implement holistic seasonal strategies for Strategic Sporting Goods Wholesale accounts that delivers profitable growth for Canada and our strategic business partners.
Core Accountabilities:
Marketplace Strategy: Develop and execute distribution plans, monitor the marketplace, elevate assortment plans and RPB execution. Drive segmentation and differentiation framework that creates marketplace capacity.
Account Management:
Lead contact with the account (external), as well as the internal team (Sales, Category, Brand) to develop strategic plans, develop strong partnerships, deliver against key retail profit measurements, elevate our Brand and execute against seasonal revenue targets.
You’ll also stay current on product and product changes and display strong customer service skills by developing and maintaining relationships with key personnel at all levels of the customer’s business. Prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive product presentations on a seasonal basis.
North America Matrix Management:
Develop and foster peer relationships with North American counterparts to ensure category, customer and channel alignment. Establish and maintain strong communication that promotes prosperous business development and execution of mutual business objectives. Work closely with Canada cross-functional leadership to integrate and align on strategic initiatives and goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Merchandising and or Product Merchandising
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math and analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and EXCEL
  • Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends
  • Ability to use sales financial data to recommend and make decisions on account profitability
  • Proven and reputable communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable and confident in ability to work with cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business
