Vendasta’s GM of Enterprise is an Executive-level position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The GM has strategy level responsibility for the success of Vendasta’s business with the Large Cloud Broker (Enterprise) segment. This includes responsibility for both the “go to market strategy” as well as the delivery of the SAAS platform and the successful adoption by the customer. This position has both top line and bottom-line responsibility for this segment of the business.
The GM of Enterprise plays an important role in collaborating with various members of the senior leadership team to drive vision and direction to the evolving realm of products and services offered in Vendasta’s platform—based on observed wants and needs of our current and prospective Partners.
Develop and implement the overall sales and business strategy for Vendasta to succeed in the Large Cloud Broker segment
Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent, creating a strong benchmark that ensures the company’s ability to hit targets; embody and encourage a growth mindset at all levels
Develop, recommend, and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
Seek out opportunities and build successful partnerships with business leads, as well as key decision-makers in the SaaS and digital marketing industries
Provide ongoing strategic insights and continually identify future valuable opportunities based on changing market dynamics, industry trends, and potential competitive advantages for Vendasta
Work with cross-functional teams to innovate and create sales, marketing, and project management systems that are necessary to sustain continued growth
Harness data to drive and adapt go-to-market strategies and tactics that drive profitable growth
Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics
Foster and maintain a working relationship with external agencies and Partners for collaboration and feedback purposes, as well as for promotion of the Vendasta brand
Develop and execute plans for successful revenue expansion, understanding and mitigating the risks of market conditions and driving growth
Lead and manage the development, communication, and implementation of effective revenue growth strategies and processes across the revenue cycles—from acquisition to engagement and success
Represent the voice of the customer and marketplace by providing market feedback to product development; provide leadership, vision, and direction to the evolving span of owned-and-operated and third-party products offered in the Vendasta platform
Drive rapid development of commercially successful SaaS products, based on first-hand experience working closely with key stakeholders and Partners
Operate with curiosity with an ability to push through business challenges with a focus on continuous improvement
Prospect and develop close relationships with key target clients
Represent Vendasta’s digital marketing platform externally through various channels (videos, blog posts, social media)
Skills & Requirements
15+ years experience working in an Enterprise sales dynamic, leading a team of 20+ to success; experience in MarTech considered a strong asset
Proven track record and meaningful tenure (5+ years) working in sales in a SaaS organization; given direct responsibility for building people, processes, systems, and a high-performing sales culture
Direct responsibility for scaling company revenue from $50M to$200+M and AEs from 30 to 100+ globally
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic ecosystem of partnerships—including integration partners and a variety of service partners (ex: agencies, consultants, systems integrators, etc.)
High technical aptitude, with the ability to learn quickly and explain & sell technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to successfully balance a company culture of collaboration, learning, and team-based selling with aggressive sales tactics required to serve Enterprise-level partners
