Summary of Duties, Responsibilities, Typical Activities and Assignments:

¦ Administer employee handbook and policies to assure compliance and that all employees are treated equally and fairly throughout the organization and provide unbiased input in conflict resolution and ensure management is informed regarding employee concerns and/or issues.

¦ Perform employee recruitment activities by posting for roles, screening candidates, assessing for furtherance to hiring managers, preparing offers of employment and conducting comprehensive on-boarding

¦ Oversee documentation and adherence of the employee performance management system including job descriptions, objective management, pay scales, annual employee review protocol, etc., by working directly with hiring managers on training and compliance

¦ Represent the company and employee interests with full participation in the Reliance Safety Committee complete with regulatory compliance, return to work programs and continual improvement toward an injury free workplace

¦ Participate in planning and execution of company social events including company and social committee led initiatives

¦ Inform management of changes in legislation and the implications to the company for things such as minimum wage, hours of work, probation periods, holiday/vacation pay, etc.

Qualification Requirements:

¦ Minimum 3 years’ experience with human resource functions in a manufacturing environment

¦ Completion or enrollment in a Human Resource and/or General Business Degree course preferred.

¦ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

¦ Excellent time management and organizational skills

¦ Excellent interpersonal skills

¦ Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
