Job Description

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion is responsible for building and leading the EDI strategy for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement ’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategies, including recruitment, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, rewards & recognition
  • Lead the EDI task force, sponsored by our CEO, and comprised of over twenty change-agents across the business
  • Partner with colleagues from across the business, including Corporate Social Responsibility, Communications, Brands and Operations to drive the EDI goals
  • Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of EDI initiatives
  • Serve as subject matter expert and liaison to HRBPs and the business to develop strategic action to attract/develop/retain diverse talent by analyzing and presenting talent demographics, monitoring data trends and developing diversity initiatives
  • Benchmark and research analysis, including monitoring and reporting on EDI topics
  • Partner with communications to regularly communicate internal and external EDI initiatives, events and progress
  • Development, management, and integration of the 's Employee Resource Groups
  • Identify, build, and sustain community partnerships to support EDI projects / plans / initiatives and business strategies

Qualifications
  • Experience developing, influencing and implementing measurable and scalable EDI strategies and action plans
  • Master’s degree, further education or experience in Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar fields
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in both French and English

  • Strong change management capabilities, evolving current practices, policies and processes while garnering buy-in and addressing organizational readiness
  • Data driven and analytical mindset
  • A penchant for challenging convention of how the industry typically approaches EDI, bringing thought-leadership and future-forward practices to elevate our business
  • Experience leading cross-functional, highly diverse teams toward the achievement of organizational goals
  • Track record of building effective cross-functional partnerships
  • Excellent communication and listening abilities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, challenging work environment while prioritizing multiple functions and managing time efficiently
  • Proven ability to easily adapt quickly to changing priorities
