Evo Car Share is searching for a Manager, Fleet Support Services!
The Manager, Fleet Support Services is responsible for ensuring that the Evo Vehicle Fleet meets the highest standards for vehicle cleanliness and convenience for Evo Car Share Members. The Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Coordinators, Vehicle Detailing Technicians and Relocation team members, implementing best practices as well as strategic initiatives in the largest Car Share Market in North America.
Working in this fast-paced car share market the incumbent will need to be adaptable and innovative in order to help achieve high quality Member experience results, they will be responsible for all metrics related to vehicle cleanliness, refueling and vehicle relocation targets overseeing the day to day operations of the Fleet Support Team.
With a fleet of 1500 vehicles, this position supports Evo Car Share in continuing to be BC’s most convenient car sharing service in the Vancouver Market. This position reports to the Senior Manager Business Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
People Management Responsibilities
  • Builds a talented team of Fleet Cleaning and Relocation Team Members through consistent and disciplined coaching to ensure vehicle cleanliness and accessibility is maintained at optimal levels
  • Quick to understand management and employee’s strengths and delegate tasks appropriately
  • Creates and implements an on-boarding plan for all new Team Members
  • Creates training and safety standards implementing best practices for all interactions with Evo Vehicles
  • Develops Personal Development Plans with each Team Member to ensure continuous growth and development
  • Optimize productivity and staffing levels across the operations function
  • Embody’ s the core values of BCAA – teamwork, integrity, and sustainability
  • Create an engaging and positive work environment through motivation, trust and integrity
  • Collaborate with other employees across the Evo Team and key stakeholders to accomplish business objectives
  • A champion for change management throughout the Evo Team

Member Experience

Operational Excellence
  • Meet or exceeds all Fleet Support Metrics including Daily & Monthly Targets
  • Identifies and implements Vehicle Cleaning, Refueling & Relocation Best Practices
  • Proactively analyzes fleet support metrics to manage and continuously improve fleet support operations for optimal financial and operational performance
  • Prepares and maintains best practice process documents for all fleet support processes including safety requirements and cleaning supplies management
  • Prepares monthly summary reports on Fleet Support Metrics including individual and team productivity metrics
  • Prepares and implements a support strategy for all future area expansion, including vehicle relocation, cleaning and any other fleet related requirements.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Business Operations to identify opportunities for continued process improvements
  • Responsible for managing Fuel Card Program including reconciliation of all charges
Daily Responsibilities
  • Coordinates vehicle issues with the Fleet Manager ensuring that vehicle availability is of the utmost priority
  • Reviews Back office regularly to monitor out of service vehicles and works with Fleet Support Coordinators to prioritize work
  • Reviews and tracks Team Member productivity to ensure that daily targets are met, including auditing of Team Member vehicle usage
  • Identifies and implements cleaning and detailing standards for the Evo Fleet Support Team
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of Customer Service Experience, 3 years Management or Leadership Experience,
  • Two-year post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (eg. Business Administration) and or minimum of 5 years related experience in operations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, managing up and setting expectations
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems would be an asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS/ Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic CRM Tool Knowledge
  • Demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work efficiently within deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and proven ability to complete tasks from start to finish
  • Proven communication skills(written/verbal) and ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management, team members and/or outside contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to establish solid interpersonal relationships, work independently with high initiative
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
