What You’ll Be Doing

A Software Engineer is a development guru who is equally comfortable shipping reliable applications as they are digging into tough problems in a Linux shell and getting their hands into sprawling C# and Golang code.

This position is critical to the growth of the company. Not only will you see your work having a direct impact on the bottom line, but you will also be a key player in the continued rocket trajectory of a tech company that is disrupting the consumer packaged goods industry and is doing good in the world.

Reporting to the Director of Technology and collaborating with product managers, marketers and fellow developers, your day-to-day will include:

  • The creation of user-facing websites using the latest and best available cross-platform .NET and Golang tools
  • Owning the overall reliability and performance of our customer-facing web application and back-office suite
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices, introducing them to your workflow
  • Leading the requirements gathering and workflow decision-making process for the team
  • Writing testable code using TDD methods; mentoring others to do the same
  • A/B testing shipped features to establish data baselines and measure performance


  • Love what you do, have opinions, and get excited about software
  • Have programming experience with MVC web applications
  • Knowledge of Angular/React.js, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript
  • Understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery, configuration automation and build systems
  • Have used a source control system (e.g. Git) in a team environment
  • Commitment to agile software development methodologies including TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • Have shipped customer-facing websites or mobile apps
  • Experience shipping high-quality code in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Knowledge of command-line Linux administration (we make full use AWS and love our Cloud infrastructure)
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
