  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts in the Core Geomatics team to drive innovation in GNSS/INS/LIDAR and other sensor fusion solutions in both embedded and post processed product lines.
  • Enhance and maintain existing GNSS/INS functionality, including implementation of new features and innovations using C++
  • Review research and industry advances and publications on an ongoing basis for new technologies and algorithms
  • Investigate and perform detailed analysis of complex customer issues
  • When required, lead small teams on problem investigation and resolution activities
  • Create, review and approve design documentation.
  • Anticipate patterns, looking beyond the immediate task and generating new solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications: Qualifications:
  • BSc in Geomatics Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • MSc/PhD preferred
  • 8 years minimum research and product development experience in GNSS/IMU integration or other sensor fusion
  • Candidates legally able to work in Canada are preferred and international candidates will be considered
  • Strong knowledge in optimal estimation theory including Kalman filtering.
  • Strong knowledge in GNSS/INS/Sensor fusion theory, error modelling and mitigation.
  • Industry experience of applying the theory in tightly and deeply coupled systems in a wide range of real-world scenarios.
  • Proven track record of innovation.
  • Experience with C++ development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
