Position Summary
As a member of the Communication Infrastructure Group and reporting to the Manager, Research Server Support, the incumbent acts as an IT technical resource in the support of the teaching needs and some research support of the Department of Computer Science. Service requests will come from departmental faculty members, lab instructors, graduate students and staff. The primary responsibility of the position is to act as the Linux systems manager for all aspects of the department's server computing facilities. The successful candidate will be required to become the subject-matter expert for the software and hardware systems to which he/she has been delegated operational authority.Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science plus a minimum of 5 years of directly-related work experience in performing the above duties. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.Required Applicant Documents:
