Summary:
Reporting to the Inventory & Payables Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for providing reports and system support (SAP) for the Corporate Inventory Control team to manage inventory and drive continuous improvement throughout the distribution centre and retail stores.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor retail inventory AORs (Area of Responsibilities) and task progress at the stores daily.
• Monitor staging storage locations at the distribution centre and retail stores.
• Help build up SAP reports for inventory integrity reporting (cycle count status report, open PID report, shrink/swell report, etc.).
• Assist in the implementation of a cycle count program for the distribution centre and retail stores to meet their inventory accuracy targets.
• Assist investigating errors identified by various systems-exception reports and submit corrective adjustments to ensure inventory is correct and shrink minimized.
• Generate monthly scrap report to monitor and align with defective allowances provided by vendors.
• Responsible for the weekly reconciliation of the shipping discrepancies report, including analyzing and resolving any variances.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Inventory Management, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
• 1+ years’ experience in inventory control or logistical cycle in a retail environment
• Experience with ERP SAP experience is preferred
• Experience with system inventory product flow/inventory movements, receiving, packing and binning and/or physical and cycle count considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced user of Excel, including the ability to build and maintain spreadsheets, use Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions
