First Nations/Metis/Inuit Candidates - Donations Analyst Job Openings in Toronto

is a registered charity that refurbishes donated computer equipment to provide non-profits, charities, and individuals, with access to subsidized technology, software, and training. Since 1995, we have distributed over 300,000 pieces of equipment.

Reporting to the Manager, Communications & Community Outreach, based in Toronto (Brick Works), you will join a team responsible for ’s donation intake, test and evaluation process. This will include the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Greeting and directing donors and clients as they enter the store
  • Helping donors transfer donations from cars
  • Gathering complete and accurate information regarding the donation and inputting into to Donation Registry system
  • Supporting asset evaluations/fair market value appraisals as directed
  • Managing inquiries related to donations through website, email, and phone
  • General presentation and orderliness of space
  • Technical activities associated with equipment function testing, data sanitization and appropriate refurbishment and configuration of workstations as required from time to time


During a typical work day, you may also be asked to:

  • Address inquiries and issues related to our charitable clients
  • Support computer maintenance, and repair activities
  • Participate in day-to-day office and storefront operations of the Toronto location.


Given the nature of the enterprise, and a period of anticipated growth, other responsibilities may also apply from time to time which may, or may not, become permanent components of the scope of work.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Self-identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit
  • Be registered or willing to register with Miziwe Biik Aboriginal Employment and Training
  • Must be a resident of the GTA
