Job Description
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair marine craft as required.
  • Provide planned maintenance to each craft as specified by manufacturer or prescribed maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain general oversight of craft performance and recommend remediation where needed.
  • The individual will adhere to Company and Client safety programs and policies.
  • The individual will attend any necessary training for specific craft components as needed to competently assess and repair.
  • The individual will exhibit good housekeeping and show care in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
  • Skills and experience to operate and maintain various sizes of watercraft, such as Jon Boats, Airboats etc would be an asset

Qualifications
  • Education: Marine Technician or Marine Mechanic
  • Experience: A minimum of 35 years experience is preferred.
  • Capable of operating without being under close supervision.
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
  • Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
  • Ability to work well with others & independently.
  • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure
  • Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
  • Ability to work long hours in adverse weather conditions
  • Travel to other locations or client location may be required from time to time.
  • Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
