CleverPet, the company behind FluentPet ( We're a technology startup that focuses on dogs and cats, and we're seeking a Customer Happiness Specialist to engage our current and potential customers, and help us to support and facilitate our growing community. We are looking for someone who is excited about the chance to grow with us--someone who is also passionate about helping humans and animals understand each other better.


  • Provide support to new and existing customers by answering questions and responding to comments over email, chat, phone, and social media
  • Build community engagement through helpful, intuitive interactions with customers
  • Build and manage user-generated content library
  • Collaborate on development of new content to support customers
  • Identify new opportunities to help us support and wow our customers
  • Assist with social media strategy and execution to build meaningful connections and encourage community member participation
  • Curate and share content for our growing community that is engaging, smart, and relevant.
  • Assist with website content development and maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members on high-priority projects
  • Support user experience testing through outreach, data tracking and data compilation, and reporting of results to team.


  • Exceptional listener, with strong attention to detail and ability to empathize with customers and respond thoughtfully to their concerns
  • Eagerness and ability to connect with new customers over the phone
  • Demonstrable social networking experience, and strong desire to build community through social networking engagement
  • Ability to help customers work through problems verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely
  • Excellent communicator with polished writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • Extremely detail- and customer-oriented, good at multitasking and organizing, all with a happy demeanor
  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree or >3 years experience in a similar customer role
  • Be able to begin work right away--we look forward to meeting you!
