Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards, the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst will play a key role at ensuring Ceridian Dayforce provides a positive user experience to all users. Incumbent will play a key role in technical and functional support of Ceridian Dayforce by making necessary configuration changes as policies and practices change. This may require liaising with a third party of our Dayforce delivery partner. Support includes problem resolution, system testing and training of other support services (e.g., HR Business Partners, Total Rewards and Benefits Admin and Payroll Admin). In addition, the HRIS Analyst will be responsible for Human Capital Management data quality and integrity by ensuring system output and input is monitored, interfaces and systems are validated for compliance, accuracy and timeliness. The role will be responsible for the development and measurement of Key Performance Indicators, HR metrics, reporting and dashboards to support the People Analytics dashboard for various levels across the organization.
The role will also support continuous enhancement and rollout of additional business processes in Dayforce including compensation, performance management, succession management and ongoing continuous improvement of employee and manager self-serve and dashboards and reporting (canned and adhoc).

What will you do in this role?:

  • Serve as liaison among Human Resources, Talent Management, IT, Payroll, Finance and Operations with regard to services and support of the HR systems;
  • Support basic to moderately complex Dayforce issues including direct responses to inquiries received through the HR, Benefits and Payroll teams;
  • Develop functional specifications documents for Dayforce configurations, enhancements or integrations with internal or external applications;
  • Participate in the development, implementation, testing, upgrading and support of new or modified system changes (incl. additional modules and/or key business processes e.g. compensation, performance mgmt, succession etc);
  • Responsible for the Ceridian Dayforce data quality and integrity by ensuring system output and input data from other applications is monitored, and validated for accuracy;
  • Perform system maintenance, including improvements, upgrades, testing and audits (in concert with our delivery partner);
  • Collaborate with HR to remain current regarding jurisdictional requirements to ensure Ceridian Dayforce configurations are compliant;
  • Support Acquisitions and Dispositions as required;
  • To complete other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for from you?
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Sciences, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HRIS system support; Ceridian Dayforce is an asset;
  • Work collaboratively with others, creating partnerships with management, Human Resources, Talent Management, Payroll Team and other colleagues;
  • Proactive and able to organize and prioritize with limited guidance; work independently or within teams and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to identify trends and work closely with management and staff to improve data integrity and workforce analytics;
  • Ability to review and compare data for accuracy, completeness and consistency;
  • Ability to analyze and determine the applicability of data, draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Adept at gathering information quickly, evaluating it and using it to assist customers and staff;
  • Excellent consultative, organization, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate with both a technical audience and business users; and
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office or Google Suite knowledge, specifically including Excel or Google Sheets (functions, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, etc.).,
