Position Summary
Most of your day involves visiting customer sites to set up systems and install them on machines and providing end-customer training for Trimble’s precision agriculture products. Every day is different!
We’re looking for someone with the knack and drive to find solutions. You don’t shy away from challenge; in fact, you’re motivated by it! You feel a sense of accomplishment when you’ve solved your customers’ machine or software issues.
You don’t need experience with precision agricultural technology – but you do need to have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
This isn’t a regular 9-5 job. During our peak seasons (April 1-June 1 and August 1-November 1) your days will be longer than a typical 8-hour workday. You understand that you may need to put in extra hours to get the job done. After all, your biggest motivator is to make sure your customer is satisfied.
We're looking for one person to cover Southern Ontario.
In this role, you will...

  • Install, configure, customize, develop, train, and provide support
  • Provide product technical support to our clients
  • Develop and think of “out of the box” solutions to help end users
  • Develop customized solutions tailored to our customers’ needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations of the features and benefits combined with solutions
  • Evaluate customers’ skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Maintain and expand service database within your assigned territory
  • Attend sales calls with Account Managers and Sales Professionals
  • Conduct product training in a classroom environment
  • Help create product related instructional programs
  • Develop and maintain product educational materials
  • Help develop technical support documentation
  • Travel around Southern Ontario 80% (or more) of the time
  • Other duties as assigned
About you...
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to listen to customers and identify key drivers for change
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Technical aptitude and a commitment to continued skills development on Precision Ag products and services
  • Ability to influence prospects through business insights and confidence
  • Able to travel on day trips 80% (or more) of the time throughout your territory
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record

  • An excellent understanding of Agricultural products, Trimble Agricultural Software, or relevant industry expertise
