Rockstar Digital Account Executive Job Opening in Thomas

The Lucky Tekkie is a brand new IT/Digital Marketing start-up quickly gaining attention in the St. Thomas and London area. We are a full-service IT/Digital Marketing agency with a strong focus on helping new businesses and entrepreneurs succeed.

Through our efforts in Website Design/Development, Graphic Design and Digital Marketing, we aim to effectively market and promote our clients' businesses. Our websites are designed using content management systems (CMS) to better manage the content with full customization offered with select packages. We also specialize in building e-Commerce systems in Wordpress using WooCommerce, with the goal of lowering the cost of sales for our clients.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Account Executive to work for our company on a contract, commission basis. We offer an attractive commission structure on completed projects. You will be working from home for this position.

As the Digital Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting for new business across Canada
  • Conducting cold-calls and sending marketing emails to new businesses
  • Networking with new business professionals in the local area
  • Promoting our services to businesses and representing our brand
  • Securing projects for the company on a continuous basis
  • Interacting with team members and communicating project details
  • Following up with customer requests/concerns
  • Other duties as requested

For this position, the ideal candidate has:

  • Between 1-3 years experience in closing IT/Digital Sales
  • Experience working on a commission basis
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the sales process and technical requirements
  • Familiarity with IT/Digital Marketing, Web Design and Graphic Design
  • Familiarity with Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla CMS
  • Knowledge of effective marketing strategies
  • Positive attitude, drive and self-motivation
  • Time to dedicated between 20-30 hours/week for the role
  • A home office setup with laptop/desktop, phone and headset
  • A degree, diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
