ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As an Intern, Natural Resources , you’ll:

  • Support members of the investment team in the analysis of potential transactions in the Natural Resources group portfolio
  • Participate and support the Natural Resources group in the active management of the group's current portfolio of investments
  • Participate and support investment team members in the due diligence process
  • Participate in the development and/or validation of financial models related to investments
  • Support the Natural Resources group in industry researches related to new investments opportunities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Mature, driven, motivated and ability to take initiative
  • Responsible, diligent and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and presentation of information
  • Knowledge and interest in the forestry and agriculture sector is an asset
  • Superior level of proficiency with business software and analytical tools
  • English required, bilingualism an asset

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of CommerceFinance or Accounting; or
  • Enrolled in a Master's program, concentration in Finance or other related fields
  • Investment program, an asset
  • High academic achievement
  • Professional designations or in-progress designations: CFA, an asset
