Job Summary

is looking for an On-Site Level One Deskside Technician who will be placed on a fixed-term contract (with potential for extension). The Deskside Technician will provide deskside, IMAC, Deskside support, and Break/Fix support to client and partner teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support services in a courteous and responsive manner during the migration project
  • Troubleshoot, fix and/or resolve clients' issues
  • Complete various tasks and responsibilities, including moves, disaster recovery, asset refresh, install, de-install, re-image, evaluation and testing, answer/respond to questions about software.
  • Take direction from Service Desk and client personnel to provide client-side technical support including deskside support, IMAC service, and break/fix capabilities in accordance with established process and contractual obligations.
  • Communicate with clients, partners, and other client service team members via telephone and email on a daily basis to provide updates on the status of service tickets.
  • Assist with special projects where required as directed.
  • Manage the ticket life cycle surrounding technical requirements.
  • Demonstrate the use of various software applications to end users

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of work-related experience.
  • Holding a valid driver's license would be an asset.
  • Holds Comptia A+ certification.
  • Holds vendor-specific certifications (Lenovo, and Lexmark).
  • Strong people skills and the ability and desire to provide the best customer experience to clients.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a proven ability to put clients first.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive.
  • Client focus and strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as part of an extremely dynamic Team in a fast-paced customer care environment.
